Canberra Wine Week 2021 kicks off on Sunday 21 March until Monday 29 March. The celebrations begin on Saturday 20 March with a 3-hour wine tasting event at the Kambri cultural precinct located at the Australian National University. More than 60 wines will be available for you to taste with a selection of food and entertainment.

Did you know that Canberra’s wine region is home to 140 vineyards and more than 30 cellar doors? A lot of people don’t. In fact, a lot of people don’t know that Canberra even has a wine region. But this is quickly changing and I have a feeling that Canberra’s wine region is going to be very well known in the coming years. Most of the wineries are located within 35 minutes’ drive of Canberra, making it easily accessible for a day out or a weekend away.

Canberra Wine Week is about to kick off with more than 30 events happening across the region. It’s an exciting time in Canberra and the region, as we witness amazing growth not only the food scene, but also the wine scene.
