Canberra Wine Week celebrates 50 years of Canberra District wine in 2021

Canberra Wine Week 2021 kicks off on Sunday 21 March until Monday 29 March. The celebrations begin on Saturday 20 March with a 3-hour wine tasting event at the Kambri cultural precinct located at the Australian National University. More than 60 wines will be available for you to taste with a selection of food and entertainment.

It’s wine time: Australia’s first Riesling-dedicated bar and restaurant opens in Braddon

Canberra’s wine scene continues to grow in leaps and bounds. From incredible wineries less than 40 minutes from Canberra, to amazing wine bars in central Canberra and surrounding suburbs. Wine time in the capital is better than it has ever been.

Canberra is now home to Rizla, Australia’s first Riesling-dedicated bar that opened on Friday 13th September, on the corner of Lonsdale St and Elouera St, in the space that was previously occupied by Toasted.
