Online silent auction for mental health

Eat Canberra’s Founder and Managing Director, Amelia Bidgood, is raising money for headspace and an online silent auction for mental health is happening now! There are now 20 (one has already been snapped up) food, beverage, health and accommodation items up for grabs and all money raised will go to Amelia’s fundraiser for headspace. The online silent auction ends on Wednesday 26 August at 10pm so there’s still time to get involved!

On 19th September, Mamma Mia! fans will be invited to an immersive sing-along experience in Canberra. The Greek Islands are coming to Canberra for a limited time only, giving fans the chance to sing along with an amazing cast.

A floating cinema is coming to Canberra this spring

A floating cinema is coming to Canberra from 28 October until 1 November. The cinema will be made up of 12 to 24 mini boats, holding up to 8 people per boat. So you’ll need to get in quick because availability will be limited.

Tickets will require you to purchase the whole boat to ensure that groups will be seated with friends and family only, and to allow for social distancing on and between boats.

The movies will be a selection of classic oldies and new releases and all attendees will be treated to FREE popcorn.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase before you set sail with local vendors expected to fill your stomach with delicious eats and drinks.

More details will be released closer to the date.
