Think cheese is life? Well for Sam Studd, it kind of is.
His dad is Will Studd, who’s a world renowned cheese connoisseur and has spent four decades travelling the globe seeking the best cheeses. He even has a whole television series about the world’s most significant cheeses.
And Sam’s followed in his father’s footsteps. Not only is he a Certified Cheese Professional (dream job, amirite?!), he’s worked on numerous artisanal diaries across North America and Australia, and has even been inducted into the Guide Internationale des Fromagers.
Sam’s bringing his passion for cheese to Canberra for a one-off, cheese-filled lunch at Marble and Grain.
On Saturday August 24, you can join Sam for a five course lunch with matched wines, where you’ll get to not only taste some of Sam’s personal favourites, but learn to truly appreciate all things cheese in a dedicated masterclass.
Featuring five different types of cheese, the menu is extremely cheesy, in the best way possible.
Tucked into the ground floor of the Avenue Hotel in Braddon, Marble and Grain boasts a modern luxe interior and relaxed vibe – the perfect setting for a Saturday lunch.
The Cheese Masterclass with Sam Studd is on Saturday August 24 from 12.30-2.30pm at Marble and Grain.
Tickets to this event will sell out so be quick. They’re only $132.96 (including booking fee) per person which includes five courses with matched wines – you can buy them here.
