They’re already known for their spectacular cuts of meat, but European steakhouse Marble and Grain is taking things up a notch with their Wagyu Masterclass event.
Held on Saturday July 27, they’re bringing in the experts from Jack’s Creek, who are the proud current title holders of ‘World’s Best Steak Producer’, for a wagyu beef lunch with matched wines.
All five courses will feature top quality graded wagyu – and yes, that even includes the dessert.
This is beef at its absolute finest – intricately marbled and tender, it’ll melt in your mouth and deliver a lingering taste.
Starting with a wagyu rib meat spring roll with brik pastry, you’ll then dine on beef carpaccio, indulgent beef cheek ravioli, then a grilled striploin. And the beef keeps coming at dessert – a lemon and rhubarb delicious made with F1 wagyu suet sponge.
Each course is also served with a matched wine to really highlight the flavour of the beef.
Tucked into the ground floor of the Avenue Hotel in Braddon, Marble and Grain boasts a modern luxe interior and relaxed vibe – the perfect setting for a Saturday lunch.
The Waygu Masterclass is on Saturday July 27 from 12.30pm at Marble and Grain, Braddon. Tickets are $127.69 – you can get them here.
