New Food Tour: Truffle Hunt and Truffle Tasting Tour

Eat Canberra

Truffle season is one of our favourite times of year in Canberra! This strangely delicious, indulgent and very expensive black gold will be celebrated around Canberra and surrounding regions over the next few months.

We’ve created a very special foodie experience to help you discover the fresh black winter truffles grown in the ACT and Southern NSW.

Come on an adventure with Eat Canberra Food Tours where you will visit a truffle farm and go truffle hunting while learning more about truffles from the experts.

After you’ve worked up an appetite, we’ll drive you to one of the many amazing wineries in the region where you will enjoy a wine tasting of 10 wines, a shared grazing platter and a 2-course meal that highlights truffles at an incredible Canberra region winery.

But wait, there’s more! You will also sample a range of truffle food and beverage products including truffle vodka from a Canberra distillery, truffle beer from a Canberra brewery, truffle ice cream and more.

Truffle products and fresh truffles will be available to purchase throughout the tour if you want to continue to enjoy this earthy, seasonal product after the tour ends.

You will also be given a special truffle recipe from one of Canberra’s best chefs so you can create your own truffle dish to impress your friends at home.

Your awesome guide and driver will provide transport in a heated bus to keep you warm. Snacks and water will also be provided.

The maximum amount of people we can take on this tour is 10. A minimum of 6 people is required for the tour to go ahead.

This tour can also be booked for private groups and there’s an option to take a bigger group of people if required. Email eatcanberra@gmail.com to find out more.
