Eat Canberra and Rainbow Nourishments have joined forces to bring you a wholefoods plant-based feast, the first event of its kind in Canberra! This pop-up dinner will be held at Local Press Café, a Canberra brunch hot spot, and will showcase incredible local wholefood businesses that don’t have a shop front.
Anthea, local chef, food blogger and food stylist from Rainbow Nourishments, and Amelia from Eat Canberra, Canberra’s number one online food publication who also hosts foodie events and food tours have curated this unique dinner.
This special dinner will transform the rustic and earthy Local Press Café into a temporary hub for guests to enjoy a tantilising range of plant-based wholefoods from a beautiful smorgasboard. Guests can expect to see handmade pizza bagels with handmade vegan cheese, stews turned into rustic pies, kombucha mocktails and raw desserts using ingredients from Naked Foods Braddon and Niulife Coconut!
Some of the incredible local businesses involved are:
- Naked Foods Braddon
- Niulife Coconut
- Fudgemental
- Canberra Magic Kitchen
- Booyah Kombucha
- Buddha’s Kitchen
- Little Raw Foodie
Guests will hear Anthea speak about the story behind some dishes and the philosophy of local food businesses involved. Each guest will take home a gift bag with wholefood products (and more!) and get access to a recipe ebook with many of the recipes used for the dinner.
