Eat Canberra and Rainbow Nourishments have joined forces to bring you a winter-themed wholefoods plant-based feast! This pop-up dinner will be held at Local Press Café, a Canberra brunch hot spot, and will showcase incredible local wholefood businesses that don’t have a shop front.
Anthea, local chef, food blogger and food stylist from Rainbow Nourishments, and Amelia from Eat Canberra, Canberra’s number one online food publication who also hosts foodie events and food tours, have curated this unique dinner.
This special dinner will transform the rustic and earthy Local Press Café into a temporary hub for guests to enjoy a tantilising range of plant-based wholefoods from a beautiful smorgasboard. Guests will be invited to select all they can eat from 15 dishes over 3 courses. Guests can expect to eat hand-made asian-style bagels, homemade hot chocolate, raw desserts using ingredients from Naked Foods Braddon and Niulife Coconut and plenty more!
Some of the incredible local businesses involved are:
- Naked Foods Braddon
- Niulife Coconut
- Canberra Magic Kitchen
- Booyah Kombucha
- Buddha’s Kitchen
- Little Raw Foodie
- Lady Larissa
Guests will hear Anthea speak about the story behind some dishes and the philosophy of local businesses involved. Each guest will take home a gift bag with over $60 worth of wholefood and wellbeing products from local businesses. Each guest will also be provided with a comprehensive recipe ebook which will contain many of the recipes used for the dinner, which is retailed at $10.
Please note that seating options are limited and guests may be seated on tables with other guests.
