In November 2020, Canberra hosted the first series of Regional Development Australia ACT’s Food in the Capital sustainable food conference program. They’re running the second series of events on 18^th May and there’s an opportunity for you to see food in action by attending a rural farming or a peri-urban tour that will showcase local producers in the Canberra region.

Urban farming, food wastage, sustainability, social ventures, vertical farming and food innovation are all topics that will be discussed at the upcoming Food in the Capital event series. It’s the first sustainable food conference of its kind to come to Canberra, and it kicks off on 17 November 2020.
