Eat Canberra recently held our first foodie event with Canberra’s very own MasterChef, Trent Harvey. Guests arrived at The Truffle Farm, a stunning location near Mount Majura, and were treated to a three-course lunch and gift bags filled with goodies from local businesses. They were able to talk to Trent and find our about his MasterChef Australia experience and some lucky people even got to take home one of our great giveaways. It’s not often you can say that you felt like a celebrity (unless you actually are one) but for some reason that’s how I felt when I entered the revolving door and was greeted by security as I turned the corner, walked down the gorgeous set of stairs and stepped onto the large, red carpet at Casino Canberra. The giant, sparkling chandelier that sat above the marbled bar at the end of the red carpet might have added to the feeling. Everything felt expensive and glamorous!
