Treat your dog to a day out for BarkFest 2.0 at QT Canberra on Saturday 24th April. This event is hosted by The Social Dog Company who have created the ultimate fundraising party for pooches.
There will be perfectly plated fancy food for your pup, a Ru Paw Drag Race runway showcasing rescue dogs for adoption, 25 doggie stalls, an op-pawtunity for your pups to become the next Picasso at the events puppy painting station and heaps more.
BarkFest will likely be the biggest day in your dog’s social calendar and The Social Dog Company encourages you to dress your dogs to impress for best dressed competition. You’ll also get snapped on the puparazzi red carpet when you arrive.
Guests can secure the best seat in the house with reserved seating on the QT Deck. If you want something a little more casual you can grab a bite to eat from the Capitol Bar & Grill stall on the way to the ‘Paint your Pet’ session hosted by local art group, Pinot & Picasso.
Tatum Brown, Founder of The Social Dog Company, says BarkFest 2.0 is expected to be bigger and better than ever before with a line up of activities your dog and you will go barking mad for.
“After last year’s record-breaking crowds and community support in raising valuable funds for our local rescue organisations, we are excited to put Canberra on the map as being a dog- friendly city.
“It’s also really important that we show our continued support for our local rescue organisations that depend on donations to operate,” Tatum said.
The Social Dog Company is a social enterprise whose events and activities support dog rescue organisations and provide a social environment for dog owners and lovers. 100% of funds raised from BarkFest will go to Rainbow Paws and Greyhound Connections.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event will be split in two sessions with the the first session running from 11am until 1pm and the second from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
