Master the art of high tea

Get dressed up, grab the girls (or boys) in your life and learn how to master the art of creating and enjoying the perfect high tea.

Winter usually means spending way too much time inside, curled up on the lounge in track pants and jumpers. It’s not glamorous and by now, you’re probably tired of being stuck inside. Well, this is your chance to spruce yourself up, get out of the house and enjoy a unique high tea experience in Canberra.

Join Michelle Milton, Director of High Tea Society (yes, there’s a High Tea Society!) for a special High Tea Masterclass at Pavilion on Northbourne.

This unique event will take place on Saturday August 25 from 1:30-3:30pm. During that time you will learn the history behind high tea and discover the elements that create the ultimate high tea experience. You will also learn etiquette tips from Michelle so you can create your own special high tea experience.

While learning how to master this fine art, you will receive a high tea service that includes a glass of sparkling on arrival and tea from Canberra-based tea company, Adore Tea.

You will also be treated to Rodda’s Clotted Cream and Beerenberg Jam. This indulgent combination will make the perfect accompaniment to your scones. High tea isn’t high tea without scones, right?

A selection of other sweet and savoury treats will be served to you and displayed on unique AnnaVasily High Tea stands. Your tea will also be served in gorgeous Royal Albert teacups from the Miranda Kerr collection.

But wait, there’s more! Each attendee will receive a goodie bag and have the opportunity to win amazing prizes including a prize from Pinkster Gin and a $500 prize from Royal Albert!
