Monster Mash Volume Two

Eat Canberra

Have you tried the famous yabbie jaffle from Monster? I haven’t but on Saturday I finally will! I’m soooo excited because I’ve seen lots of #foodpics floating around on social media and it seems to be the ‘it’ dish coming out of Monster’s kitchen.

Canberra Good Food Month is almost over but there are still a few incredible foodie events that you don’t want to miss out on, including Monster Mash Volume Two. Good Food Month is all about celebrating amazing local talent and this event is expected to be one of the hottest of the year. Local legend Sean McConnell of the famed Monster Bar and Kitchen is teaming up with his old mate Matt Wilkinson (Melbourne’s Pope Joan) for a collaboration lunch of epic measures.

Good Food Month festival director, Myffy Rigby will also be hosting a discussion between the two chefs so it should be a great time full of food, laughs and good times to be held at one of Canberra’s hottest destinations – Hotel Hotel!

The boys have come together and will present a shared lunch featuring a collaborative menu of some of Matt’s favourite dishes (grilled calamari and Banofee pie to name a few) alongside a few of Sean’s Monster crowd pleasers, including the famous yabbie jaffle.
