If you’re looking for a warm, inviting, family-friendly café that offers a range of healthy snacks, breakfast and lunch options, as well as nutritious grab ‘n’ go meals that are all 100% gluten free, you’ll find it just off Lonsdale St in Braddon.
Canberra local Jayne McLaren decided to open Paleo Cafe Canberra City with her husband in July 2015 after experiencing a number of health issues and stumbling across the Paleo Café Bondi. The food at the cafe and the paleo concept inspired her to take better care of herself. So she took control of her lifestyle and diet, adopted the Paleo philosophy and started looking after her body from the inside out. Jayne is passionate about bringing healthy food to the lives of all Canberrans by serving nutritious and delicious options at Paleo Cafe Canberra City.
Don’t be fooled by the name of the café because you don’t have to follow a strict Paleo lifestyle to eat here and enjoy the delicious options. Eating food that is cooked and prepared with no nasties has many benefits. The café adopts the Paleo philosophy that’s not a diet but a lifestyle. It’s about eating and living as naturally as possible. A good variety of lean meat, seafood, eggs, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and berries are included in the menu at Paleo Café Canberra City.
