Aussie Day Recipes

Eat Canberra

Australia Day is a day that brings people together to celebrate being Australian and to commemorate the founding of Australia in 1788.

It’s also a day for getting together with friends and playing cricket, swimming in pools, having a game of slip n slide, listening to Triple J’s Hottest 100 and turning on the BBQ. But however you choose to celebrate the day there is always, always food involved. So why not add an Aussie twist to your food?

If you’re looking for Australia Day food ideas there’s still enough time to get down to the shops to grab the ingredients and whip up some sweet and savoury treats for your guests. These recipes will get everyone in the Aussie spirit.
