I’ve always said that the only way to survive a Canberra winter is to get out, even if it’s just for an extra long weekend! I’m originally from QLD so the sunshine and sea will always be some of my favourite things. Hamilton Island is a beautiful part of Australia and it’s also the perfect spot for your winter escape. If a warm, island destination (otherwise known as paradise) is where you want to be, Hamilton Island is the perfect escape for you.
