If a sophisticated, intimate night out filled with delicious, flavoursome food and top service is what you’re after then, Lilotang is the place for you.

As soon as I heard about the opening of Lilotang knew it was going to be up there with some of Canberra’s best restaurants. But after spending two months overseas last year and a year filled with interstate travel, lots of working and a super busy year I still hadn’t made it there.

A Sage Dining Experience

I have been in awe of Sage Dining Rooms since I moved to Canberra. But for a reason unknown to me I haven’t dined there before. I’ve eaten at Courgette and Aubergine in Canberra, Aria in Sydney, The Modern and Marea in New York and other incredible restaurants in Australia, Asia and South America. But Sage remained on my ‘to eat’ list, until recently.

I’m always so excited and intrigued when I go to fine dining restaurants. I love the beautifully plated dishes that look like masterpieces on a plate with a combination of flavours and concepts you’ve never imagined. I love the sense of amazement I feel as the wait staff explain the dish and all of it’s components as they place the faultless plane in front of me. Continue reading A Sage Dining Experience

Hoi Polloi at Old Parliament House

Last week Mr Eat Canberra and I went to the media launch for Hoi Polloi, the new restaurant at Old Parliament House. It was a fun night filled with delicious food and a #pollieburger competition. Everything about the night was unique! Ten other food bloggers and I entered the competition for our chance to have our burger featured on the menu with a possibility of it becoming a permanent item on the menu.
