One of Sydney’s most iconic eateries, The Grounds of Alexandria is a foodie’s wonderland. Since its opening in 2012, The Grounds went from one of Sydney’s best kept secrets, to a must must visit destination. I have gone out of my way to go every time I’m in Sydney since I first heard about it in 2014. While maintaining its original charm, detail and level of care, The Grounds has grown exponentially in size, visitors and sites. Japanese fusion dishes at Penny University

With a quirky, retro fit out and a uniquely delicious menu, it’s easy to see why Penny University is one of Canberra’s most popular brunch spots. It’s also a favourite with the stars like Adam Goodes, former Sydney Swans player, who stop by to get a taste for themselves. Their menu changes seasonally and we recently tried a few items from their summer menu. The menu features a few Japanese inspired dishes, alongside classic brunch items with a Penny twist.
