100kg of FREE chicken wings at Bleachers Sports Bar

Good news foodies, Bleachers Sports Bar are giving away 100kg of chicken wings on Tuesday 19 July.

The team at Bleachers Sports Bar want to put a smile on Canberrans faces in the midst of the increasing cost of living, and Covid-19 continuing to put a dampener on our lives. Their answer? Free chicken wings, and we’re not mad about it.

If you’re one of the first 50 people at lunch or dinner, you’ll be able to get your hands on a 1kg plate of classic Buffalo, Jack Daniels BBQ Bourbon or Sweet Chilli wings if you visit on Tuesday 19 July.

So how will it work? There will be 50kg available from 12pm until they’re gone, and the remaining 50kg will be available from 5pm until they’re demolished.

Feeling thirsty after all those wings? They’ll be selling their 2-litre beer towers for only $25 on the day so you can wash those wings down with a few mates, and a few brews.

When the 50kg of free wings are gone at lunch and dinner, 1kg plates of wings will be available to purchase for $10. No table bookings are available – you just have to be one of the first to arrive to claim the free wings before they’re gone.

If you can’t make it for the free or cheap wings, you might want to Bleachers Sports Bar for a burger and a beer for $20 on Mondays, schnitty and a beer for $20 on Tuesdays, all-you-can-eat wings for $20 on Wednesdays (add 4 tinnies of beer for an additional $20), or beef brisket tacos or nachos for $20 on Thursdays.

If you’re after a happy hour special, pop in between 4-6pm during the week, and they’ll upgrade your schooner of beer to a pint for free.
