Create your own gourmet sandwich competition

Eat Canberra

Who doesn’t enjoy a good sandwich? A sandwich is even better when you can create it yourself using Sonoma bread and fresh ingredients. Courtyard by Milk Crate has recently launched their very own sandwich bar so you can create a gourmet sandwich from only $12. We’re running a competition to give you a chance to win a sandwich a week for two months.

So how do you enter?

Visit Courtyard by Milk Crate (located at 14 Moore St in the city) between 23rd October and 6th November to create your own sandwich. You’ll have a range of breads from Sonoma, proteins, salads and dressings to choose from.

Amelia from Eat Canberra and Eileen from The Food Avenue will taste test the entries after the competition closes. They will then choose three finalists. The finalists will be announced on Thursday 8th November.

The finalist’s creations will feature on the menu at Courtyard by Milk Crate from 12th until 26th November. The sandwich that has been purchased the most during that time will be the winner!

The finalists will each win a free sandwich and the winner gets lunch on Courtyard by Milk Crate once a week until the end of January. So you’ll finish 2018 and start 2019 with some free gourmet sandwiches. That’s one day a week that you don’t have to think about lunch – winning!

The sandwich bar is open from 10:30am until 2pm, Mon-Fri.
