Where to find Canberra’s best doughnuts

Doughnuts

Doughnut worry! We’ve rounded up some of the best places in Canberra for you to get delicious doughnuts from.

Bombolini Doughnuts

I still remember when Geoff from Bombolini Doughnuts delivered a box of his amazing creations to me before he launched. Since then, Canberrans have gone crazy for Geoff’s creations and he often sells out. Flavours regularly change but can include lime and white choc, blueberry cheesecake, vanilla and wild flowers and more. Bombolini also have vegan and gluten free options! You can get Bombolini Doughnuts from the Capital Region Farmers Market at Epic on Saturdays and Southside Farmers Markets on Sundays. Bombolini Doughnuts also pop up at different events including The Forage and they’re stocked in some supermarkets in Canberra. Follow them on Facebook or Instagram to see their weekly flavours and to find out where else you can find them.

Doughnut Department

Doughnut Department is a stylish café at No Name Lane in the City and has a selection of delicious yeast raised, hand-cut doughnuts. Their doughnuts are made daily with love! Think chocolate cacao nibs with sea salt, matcha and lemon + basil. They also have some vegan options. Their doughnuts look just as gorgeous as the interior of the café and they use Six8 Coffee so you can enjoy an equally amazing coffee with your doughnut.

The Bunched Co.

You can now get a bunch of doughnuts delivered to your door or spoil a loved one with a special delivery! The Bunched Co is a new Canberra-based business in that delivers bunches of Nutella-filled donuts, glazed doughnuts or sprinkled ones. The Nutella bunch comes with a personalised syringe that’s filled with Nutella and they also deliver choc-coated strawberry bunches. I’ve tried the strawberries and recently ordered a bunch of Nutella doughnuts for my sister-in-law to congratulate her for finishing her Masters. She absolutely loved them! Apparently they’re also really good warmed up with some ice cream and a glass of whiskey 😉 You can email The Bunched Co. at thebunchedco@gmail.com or check them out on Facebook or Instagram.
