Winter specials at The Chairman Group restaurants

Winter in Canberra is often a time of hibernation and your social life can freeze up like your windscreen in the mornings – if you’re one of the unlucky ones like me who parks their car outside! This winter I have kissed hibernation goodbye because I’m determined to get out and about and enjoy all that Canberra has to offer. Even if it is a bit colder, it’s no excuse! Get your layers on and get out and explore our beautiful city. 

I recently received an email from The Chairman Group letting me know their  winter specials. They sound pretty good to me so I thought I would share them with you. EN-KAI BANQUET at LILOTANG

Lilotang is one of my favourite restaurants in Canberra and this banquet sounds delicious!

En-Kai means to gather and laugh loudly over a shared meal. That’s why Lilotang has named their banquet after this term. They want to offer you a delicious and affordable banquet menu that takes all the hassle out of dinner, so you can focus on the laughs!

Head Chef Daniel has created a lovely banquet, where each curry dish draws inspiration from a different region of Malaysia. Fragrant, hearty, lots of spices and flavours (and not all spicy!) The Kari Kari Banquet will warm you up this winter!

• Popiah – Fresh Malaysian Duck Rolls

• Chicken Moolie – Portugese & Indian origin. Mild, turmeric & coconut based curry
